SHEERAH LOUISE C. TASICO
Sheerah Louise Custodio Tasico was a Project Technical Assistant V of the DOST-PCAARRD-funded project entitled “Advocating for the Institutionalization of Payment for Water Ecosystem Service (P-WES) in the Philippines.” Her desire to interact with, learn from, and help communities, sparked her interest in social forestry and grounded theory. She explored these themes during her undergraduate years in the College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR) of UPLB, wherein she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry. Her previous engagements under the Environmental Forestry Programme (ENFOR), DENR CENRO Sta. Cruz, and IdSC INREM-UPLB, are also attuned with her passion. Under these institutions, she was exposed to community involvement, rural development, watershed management, environmental policy enforcement, and environmental research.
