PIA C. MONTOYA
Pia Collado Montoya is a Project Technical Specialist I under the DOST-PCAARRD-funded project “Integration of Traditional and Modern Bioproduction Systems for a Sustainable and Resilient Future Under Climate Ecosystems Changes (ITMoB).” She is a Licensed Professional Teacher with Biological Sciences as her major. Before embarking on her journey with ITMoB, she served as an Instructor I at Palawan State University- San Vicente Campus, where she honed her teaching skills and shared her knowledge, particularly under the BS in Environmental Science program. She obtained her MS in Natural Resources Management from the Asian Institute of Technology and her BS in Environmental Science from Palawan State University. Her research interests include mangrove forest management, carbon forest monitoring, community-based management, and application of remote sensing-geographic information systems (RS-GIS) in natural resources management.
