Prof. PASTOR L. MALABRIGO JR. is a Professor of the Department of Forest Biological Sciences, College of Forestry and Natural Resources, UPLB, and currently the Manager of the UPLB Land Grant Management Office. He is also the curator for trees in the Museum of Natural History. His specialization is plant taxonomy. He is the only Filipino member of the Global Tree Specialists Group and the Species Survival Commission of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. He is the lead scientist of the Global Tree Assessment – Philippines responsible for the updating of IUCN red list assessment of Philippine trees.
