Edgar M. Reyes, Jr. holds a PhD degree in Spatial Planning from the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany. His more than 10 years portfolio includes publications on spatial dynamics, land-value capture, urban and regional planning, climate-proofing of development plans, small-island landscape studies and planning, Nature-based solutions, sustainable energy and climate change in the Philippines and the Asia-Pacific region. His recent engagements include projects on small-island land and water use planning and zoning; smart, sustainable, and climate-resilient cities; Nature-based solutions; Food security; and island circular economies, all advocating SDGs and just representation of stakeholders in the community.
