Dr. Dixon T. Gevaña is a Professor and UP Scientist at the Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance, College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR), University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). He is currently the Director of the Forestry Development Center (FDC-CFNR). He mainly works on mangrove blue carbon and coastal forest governance studies. He took his Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Master of Science in Community Development from UPLB, and PhD in Forest Environmental Science from Seoul National University, Korea.
