Kathleen L. Abreu is a Project Technical Assistant I under the DOST-PCAARRD-funded project titled, “Project 2: Natural Capital Accounting of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems in the West Philippine Sea,” which is the second component of the “Resource Inventory, Valuation and Policy in Ecosystem Services under Threat (RE-INVEST): The Case of the West Philippine Sea” Program. Kathleen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Management from the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Calamba, Laguna. Her experience includes providing administrative and logistical support to colleagues as well as preparing reports and other materials needed in the company she worked at. Since 2015, she has been providing administrative services as part of her work in projects such as SARAI, Fertigroe, and Crossbred Dairy Buffalo, which are all funded by DOST-PCAARRD.

Re-INVEST WPS Project 2
This project is one of the components of the research program entitled "Resource Inventory, Valuation and Policy in Ecosystem Services under Threat (Re-INVEST): The Case of the West Philippine Sea" which will focus on developing physical and monetary accounts using exchange and welfare values for coastal resources and ecosystem services, and shall also demonstrate the use of physical and monetary accounts for policy-making and decision analysis.
