Project 2 of the “Resource Inventory, Valuation, and Policy in Ecosystems under Threat: The Case of the West Philippine Sea” or RE-INVEST WPS program is looking for qualified Field Enumerators for its recreation demand survey in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and household surveys in Balabac, Palawan.RE-INVEST WPS P2 is looking for local enumerators for Pangasinan SurveyProject 2 of the “Resource Inventory, Valuation, and Policy in Ecosystems under Threat: The Case of the West Philippine Sea” or RE-INVEST WPS program is looking for qualified Field Enumerators for its recreation demand survey in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and household surveys in Balabac, Palawan.
Field Enumerators will be responsible for conducting in-person surveys with fisherfolks and tourists in the assigned implementation sites. Their engagement may be extended depending on the survey’s progress.
Qualifications:
– Must be residing in Puerto Princesa City for recreation demand survey enumerators and in Balabac for household survey enumerators
– At least a college graduate, preferably a graduate of economics, development studies, fisheries, environmental science, or any social science-related course
– Preferably has experience in conducting in-person socioeconomic surveys or field data collection activities; Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
– Excellent oral communication skills in English, Filipino, and local dialect
– Must be willing to follow survey protocols and submit to authority
– Knowledgeable in using collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
– Previous engagement with the local government, fisherfolk, and tourist operators is a huge plus
